According to the research of GfK, the most "online" country of Europe is Iceland, where 88% of the population older that 14 have access to the Internet.
The second place occupies Finland with the 81 percent of the users and the third - Norway and Denmark with 76 percent. The top five is enclosed by the Sweden, where 73 percent of the population are the regular users of the Internet.
The most "offline" in Europe are the inhabitants of Albania. Only one percent of the Albanians use the Internet. In the Western Europe the most "disconnected" state is Malta where only 25 percent of the population use the Internet.
In the Eastern Europe less than a half of the population uses Internet. The exception is Slovenia, where this indicator is at 61 percent and Estonia, where it makes 60 percent. |
