Tourists will be fingerprinted twice

24 Apr. 2008

It is expected that since the 30-th of June 2009 there will be new rules for the airline operators and companies that perform sea transportation, that supposes that they will have to fingerprint the tourists that are leaving the USA.

During 24 hours this information will be transfered to the USA National Security Agency. Such procedure will supposedly help to increase the national security of the country, that is paid more attention since the terror of the 11-th September 2001.

Currently, fingerprints are taken from the foreigners only at the entrance to the country. The airlines are not really glad about this novelty.
