An enterprising author - Augusto Cavadi has written a book for the tourists, telling the history of the Sicilian mafia and deflating several myths about Cosa Nostra.
The book named "Mafia for tourists" has 55 pages. It is being published in Japanese, German, English, Spanish and French languages and answers the most popular touristic questions. There is also information about the danger of the Sicilian streets and is it real that the Cosa Nostra members do not kill women, kids and priests.
In the end of the guide there is a list of the books and movies that represent the gangsters in most realistic light.
According to the words of the author, some of the teachers of the local schools have already asked him about the possibility to distribute the book in their educational establishments. |
