Toilets in USA talk to the visitors

5 May. 2008

The authorities of the American city Atlanta have installed five modern public lavatories, equipped with electronic gadgets, each one costing about $300 thousands dollars.

The toilet is a spacious silver colored cabin with automatic doors, resembling an elevator with it's look. All processes inside are automated - even the toilet paper should not be ripped off - it comes out after the guest presses a button. The toilet talks with the visitor, for example tells about his ready state after the automatic seat disinfection. Moreover, music plays inside of the cabin for the visitor.

The locals are mostly unhappy with the fact that the city administration has spent so much funds for the public lavatories. "I wonder why they are not golden",- said the representative of the Tax Payers community of the district - Barbara Paney.
