Internet access in the Thalys trains

In the Thalys trains that travel at the speed up to 300 km/h at the routes Paris - Brussels - Amsterdam and Paris - Brussels - Cologne will appear the Internet access. The service is free for the passengers of the first class and the passengers of the second class can obtain it for 6,5 euro per hour or for 13 euro during the whole trip. The payment can be performed in the Internet or with a pre-pay card.

The access is possible along the whole route. Currently 7 trains are equipped with the satellite link devices. Till this autumn all the 26 trains will be supplied with them. This is the first service of such type in Europe, delivering Internet-access during the whole trip along the whole high-speed route.
