Exactly this sky has inspired the aborigines for their unique masterpieces and should become the symbol of the unity of the nation in their struggle for the protection of the environment.
The authors of the idea tell that the Australian sky has an extraordinary aesthetic, historical, social and scientific value for all the citizens of the country. According to their opinion, the lights of the buildings during the night deprives the locals and the tourists of the pleasure to watch the stars and the symbol of Australia - the Crux (Southern Cross). |
