In the Vesteros town in Sweden, not far away from Stockholm there has appeared an unusual hotel - it is located on a 130-years old oak at the height of 13 meters. This is the smallest hotel in the world, equipped with all the necessary accommodations.
Michael Genberg, the designer and creator of the floating hotel - Otter Inn at the Swedish lake Malaren - has crafted a real nest in the Vasaparken park.
You can get into the "Woodpecker" hotel only via the durable rope ladder. Your only neighbors will be the nightingales, starlings and chaffinches that live in the park.
If you switch your mobile phone off and wait till the park is closed for the visitors - you can really forget that you are actually in the middle of a town.
Michael has also taken care about the needs of his guests: there is a toilet, a kitchen, a stove and a duvet and even a library. Drinking the morning coffee on the cozy terrace you can enjoy the wonderful sights to the part and the nearby located lake Malaren. |
