The Philippine police has got a strict directive - smile!. The officers will smile during the whole Wednesday and after that - at will - and till the end of the week.
This is the means - how the ministry of the internal affairs of the country has decided to react on the complaints for the rude behavior of the police officers, that come not only from the locals but also form the numerous tourists that come to the Philippines.
The new management principles were designed after several weeks of the bloody wars that took place between the police officers and the armed gangs.
Recently 10 people were shot down in a queue standing at the bank counter in one of the province towns of the country. This and many similar incidents have resulted a violence wave.
"Good morning, Good day, Good evening. Please excuse for the inconvenience. Thank you an so on. After the bloody wars we have to calm down the people. The police officers should have the most friendly look so that the people would be not afraid to ask them for help",- said the Manila police department chef - Leopoldo Bataoil. |
