One of the Prague victualers have decided to follow the examples of the European colleagues and has opened a restaurant that offers a possibility to eat in full darkness. Such restaurants are already opened in Moscow, Paris and other cities of the world.
The "Pod kridlem noci" restaurant is located at the "Narodni" street in the center of the Prague. The visitors of the restaurant will enjoy the menu of three dishes in a hermetically closed room with absolute absence of light. The guests can count on their 4 senses - hearing, touch, smell and taste.
After the arrival to the restaurant a guest gives away his cellphone, watch, lighters and everything that can emit light and chooses the menu. After that all the activity is performed in total darkness. It is also prohibited to smoke in the restaurant because of the light coming from a lit cigarette. The client is escorted to his table. All the visitors should sit near each other and not against. The waiters lead the clients to the toilets too.
The senses are getting sharper in the darkness, a person becomes to speak louder, digest faster. Most of the visitors, in spite of the presence of the silverware eat with hands. |
