One of the animals that lives in the rivers of the natural reserve to the north from Ballito has suddenly felt a thirst to saltwater and has moved to the ocean beach.
In spite of the popular opinion of people that are not familiar with Africa, these animals are not carnivorous. But they are really jealous in protecting their territory from the strangers and can deathly hurt a person if he tries to approach it.
There are often cases when hippopotamuses have turned the fishermen boats over or trampled them down at the shore if the field men have entered the estate of these large animals. |
