The largest beach towel in the world with the length of 64 meters and width of 31 meters has appeared at the Cyprus shore. About hundred of volunteers have stretched it on the beach of the Paralimni.

The organizers of the event suppose that this record will get into the Guinnes World Book of Records. When the achievement will be registered, each participant of the event will receive a piece of the unique towel. As the mayor of Paralimni has explained, the event is targeted to promote the local touristic industry.
