In the Dubai emirate starting from the 31-th of May - the world "quit smoking day" - there has been a restriction introduced, concerning sales of tobacco products to people younger than 20.
Besides, the young people are prohibited to enter public places, where the smoking is allowed.
The Dubai authorities have instructed the cigarette sellers and the managers of public places, such as cafes and restaurants - to ask the clients to present the identity documents even if it goes about hookah smoking. The violation of the restriction will be punished with a fine. |
