Starting from the 7-th of July in the Czech capital there will be activated a restriction for drinking alcoholic beverages in the streets, near the subway stations, schools and children playgrounds, medical institutions in the radius of 100 meters. Moreover, the restriction will engage also 383 streets of Prague. The list of the alcohol-free places includes also such popular touristic places as the Staromest square, the territory around the National theater, Na Prshikope street, the whole Petrshin hill, the Franciscan garden, Karl square, Nadodny trshid square and others.
The restriction will not touch the outdoor tables of the restaurants that are located in these places. The violators of the new regulation have to pay a serious fine. The tourists and locals will have to pay about $600 fine for drinking alcohol in restricted places. |
