The smoking ban will become active starting from the 8-th of July in Kenya, as the health ministry of the country reports.
The law has been introduced already in the autumn of the past year. It is targeted firstly to the regulation of the local situation that is nearly catastrophic. About 7 billion cigarettes are being sold in Kenya yearly, in average about 330 per each country inhabitant. About 13% of children of the junior school period are smokers - and this is almost a million. |
