Madrid is the most popular touristic city in Spain. This is confirmed by the increase of the visitor traffic and the average amount of money each of them spends during the stay.
According to the statistics, the daily spendings of a tourists in Madrid is 150,66 euro. The growth of this indicator is based upon the active offers of the local trading points of the tax-free service that is mostly demanded by the Chinese and Russian tourists. During the first quarter of the current year, the touristic interest to Spain has grown by 3,3%. During this time the country has already been visited by 15 million people.
Besides Madrid the touristic popularity have gained such provinces as Catalonia, Andalusia, Valencia and Canary Islands. |
