The European commission is planning to allow the cellphone networks operators to charge the clients for the incoming calls. The representatives of the committee have stated that if the tariff plan will be advantageous for the clients, it won't be rejected by the European regulators, in spite of the probability that the customers could remain dissatisfied.
The incoming calls in Europe become non-free only when a person leaves his homeland. And in China and USA the customers pay for the outgoing as well as for the incoming calls. According to the European Commission, such decision will help to reduce the charges between the cellphone networks, what will make the payment system less bureaucratic. |
