The most wealthy country of the European Union according to the results of the last year and taking into consideration the parity of buying attitude and gross income per capita is Luxembourg. This information has been published by the statistical bureau of the European Union.
According to the same criteria, the poorest country of the the European Union is Bulgaria.
The parity of buying attitude and gross income per capita in Luxembourg makes up 276 points, what is almost three times larger that the average EU indicator. Such high value is explained by the presence of large amounts of foreign workers in the country that are not permanent residents and increase the gross income of the country.
The second place belongs to Ireland with 146 points, the third went to the Netherlands - 131 points, fourth - to Austria with 128 points. Then follow Germany - 113, France - 111, Spain - 107 and Italy - 101 points. The list is ended up with Bulgaria - 38 points. |
