In São Paulo (Brazil) there opens an ice bar, which is already second in the Latin America. The cold establishment called Ice Espacio is situated in the Vila Madalena neighborhood and perfectly fits the entertaining zone with its numerous bars and restaurants. On the whole area of Ice Espacio, which constitutes 40 square meters there will dominate the ten degrees below zero frost.
Maria Lucia Rezende, together with the architect Vanessa Sequeira, who founded this establishment, said, that they were going to become the first ice bar in Latin America, but didn't manage. There was opened the similar bar in Chile in February. Besides that, one can drink a cocktail in a frosty atmosphere in Australia, Arab Emirates and in China.
In the newly opened bar almost everything is made out of ice, including the glasses. Because of using the special technique of water freezing, one's lips would never stick to a glass. Ice Espacio holds twenty visitors at a time. Paying 32 Euro for entering, the guests will have the possibility to taste local cocktails, consisting mainly of the non-freezing and warming the human body vodka. However, they wouldn't be allowed to stay in the bar more than 30 minutes for the medical reasons. |
