Thanks to the invention of the first in the world luggage case with the built-in engine, the travelers will soon forget about the hardships of being on a journey.
The revolutionary novice will be offered to the tourist this week by a small 'Live Luggage' company from the English Henley-on-Thames town.
"The appearance of a luggage trolley was a great achievement, but this had happened already 25 years ago, and since then nobody could improve it," says Clive Hemsley, the author of the invention, the idea of which came to his mind in the year 2003.
According to the producer of PA-Case, any passenger will now have the possibility to move the luggage weighing up to 30 kg, as if it was a small trolley with three-kilogram load.
New case moves with an average speed of a pedestrian, and the battery charge would be enough for the "run" of approximately three kilometers. The engines of the self-propelled mechanism are hidden in the wheels. Because of the special design of the handle and wheels, 85% of the load weight is carried by the wheels of the bag, and not by the person's hand. PA-Case will recharge itself through a device similar to a mobile phone charge.
The estimated price of the bag will constitute 700 pounds, but with the improvement of the technology, it will certainly reduce. |
