On the 26-th of June the administration of the airports together with the owners of the boutiques located there has launched a new program with the name "Vacation School".
The travelers that are waiting for their flight can learn the traditional dances of the countries they fly to. This is hip-hop on a New York direction, sirtaki for the Athens and hot salsa for those who are headed to Cuba.
The classes take place in the rooms of the boarding gates area and last only for 10-15 minutes. All this happens on the real dancing floors that are equipped with huge mirror that allows the pupils to copy the moves of the teacher. The space for dancing is separated with a curtain. And the music and the advices of the teacher are broadcasted to the earphones so that the other passengers don't get disturbed while waiting for their flight.
The program will last till the 17-th of August. In the Orly airport the dance classes take place in the southern terminal near the gate 17 and in the Charles de Gaulle airport in the terminal 2E, gate E51. |
