According to the information of the touristic research companies, the most popular resort among the European tourists this years is Spain. The research companies have analyzed 418 touristic insurance polices that has been bought before 15-th of May with the validity between the 14-th of June and the 15-th of September. The collected data has been used as the base for the popularity rating of the touristic countries.
The second place in the list has taken Italy (14,1%), the third went to Great Britain (13,8%), followed by the France (9,4%), Ireland (4,6%) and Portugal (4,3%).
This year the average duration of holiday of the Europeans is 10 days. The Polish tourists are having their rest for the longest time - 13,8 days, the Frenchmen - 13 days and the Dutchmen - 11,9 days. The most working ones are the Swedish tourists that are planning their rest only for 8 days, the Britons - for 8,3 days and the Portuguese and Spaniards - for 9 days. |
