The Belgian citizens from Antwerp that came to a beach in the mouth of the river Esko were really surprised seeing a huge 16 meters long sperm whale lying on the beach.
Only coming closer you can see that it is only anexact copy of a mammal executed from wood, aluminum and plastic.
To add reality to this imitation with the weight of one and a half tons, its founder - the Belgian artist Dirk Klasen - has loaded into the cachalot lots of rotten fish for the imitation of the stench of the decaying hulk.
Klasen specializes himself in creation of imitations of animals. The artificial whale will be available for the curious visitors till Saturday. |
