During the year 2007 the visitors of the London subway could "travel" into various places of the world and even get into the jungle if they are on the Knightsbridge station, says the British touristic administration.
Such a virtual journey can be possible due to usage of special audio-effects. During the year, waiting for a train on the platform will be an exciting adventure - the room of the station will be filled with the African elephant summons, rumbling of the Californian sea-lions, rattle of the grasshoppers and other characteristic sound of the fauna representatives of our planet.
The "Zoorama" project was developed by Heather and Ivan Morison in the context of the celebration of 100 years since the opening of one of the central lines of the London subway - Piccadilly. |
